Recipient Nell Wood

Nell Wood recieved the first ever Dalton Lee Condra Gift of Kindness Award today. During the year board members can give "Gift Of Kindness" Awards on behalf of the foundation to thank them for their help in their communities.

"Nell is the first one to bring food from the pantry to those who can't drive or something. I've seen her even give up her own food from the pantry to someone she felt needed it more then her. She even offers rides to work or church to neighbors." Amy Kearsing,  President

Amber Kearsing decided to give a Kindness Award to Jess Wilder in November, 2025.

Recipient, Jess Wilder

Amber Kearsing & Jess Wilder

Amber met Jess while working at a local busy restaurant.  Amber quickly realized what a great person Jess was.  Not only was she a great worker, but she went above and beyond by giving rides to other employees, even patrons if needed.  She also works hard as a person who you can talk to without any judgement from her and she tries to find a way to get you help if she can't help you herself.

Thank you Jess for your kind spirit and helping Georgetown County a better place.

Overdose Awareness Month& Dalton's Birthday Cake Donations

A little cake, a lot of love!

Each kit consists cake mix,  frosting, candles, information, business cards all enclosed in a aluminum cake pan with lid.  We made 29 for what would've been his 29th birthday and donated then to The Friendship Place Food Pantry.

In honor of my late son Dalton Lee Condra’s 29th on August 23 and National Overdose Awareness Month, I’ll be donating birthday cake kits through The Dalton Lee Condra Gift of Kindness Foundation to local families.
